Second PAW organizing letter by Laure and Jesse Reichek, December 2002

A 60-day report to the Petaluma 800 (signers of the full page ad in
the Argus Courier of October 23rd) and the people of Petaluma.

NO WAR
NOT WITH OUR CHILDREN *
NOT WITH OUR MONEY *

* all children everywhere
* taxes, savings, investments

Petalumans Against War (PAW) are working on projects briefly described below. The impetus for these projects has come from many Petalumans. You will notice that they are in various stages. These projects all need the engagement of other Petalumans in order to further improve planning, development, implementation.

This is in line with our basic principle guiding our activities. All our activities should be decentralized. Broad participation should be maximized in project initiation, project planning and project implementation. We must strive to engage all Petalumans.

The projects are all different forms of speech saying the same thing: NO WAR. We hope that you will find at least one of these projects attractive enough for you to call the contact person.

We must keep saying NO WAR. These is no limit to the number of times and the number of ways NO WAR needs to be said. Come with your voices, your ideas, your projects. Let us all work together to make your voice heard, your ideas materialize and your projects successful.

The issue is that vital. Please become engaged.

- Laure and Jesse Reichek, Petaluma
